Chalet BEL HORIZON Grindelwald
UNESCO World Heritage Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch
Welcome in Grindelwald
Anyone who visits Grindelwald for the first time will be fascinated by the gigantic mountains that dominate the valley of the Schwarze Lütschine. No wonder that the formerly small village that lived mainly from mountain farming has very early developed into a famous tourist destination. In wintertime visitors come mostly for skiing, sledding and winter hiking, while summer activities include hiking, biking, paragliding, and alpinism. Visitors are always impressed by the unique mountain scenery with famous summits such as Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. Nowadays Grindelwald has roughly 4000 inhabitants. Only about 6% live from farming, while 75% work in tourism and 20% in trade.
Welcome in the chalet Bel Horizon
