Chalet  BEL HORIZON  Grindelwald

UNESCO World Heritage Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch

Welcome to Grindelwald

Whoever visits Grindelwald for the first time is more than impressed by the mountain giants around the valley basin of the Schwarze Lütschine. No wonder that the small mountain village, which lived mainly from agriculture, developed early on into a top-class tourist destination. Alpine winter sports enthusiasts in particular come to Grindelwald in winter, while hikers, bikers, paraglider pilots and alpinists come to Grindelwald in summer. They are all impressed by the spectacular mountain scenery with the Wetterhorn, Schreckhorn, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Today Grindelwald has around 4000 inhabitants. Only just under 6% of those in employment work in agriculture. Tourism, on the other hand, provides employment for 75% and trade for 20% of the population of Grindelwald.

Welcome to the chalet Bel Horizon

Our family chalet Bel Horizon is surrounded by mountain meadows with the most beautiful views above the village center of Grindelwald at around 1300 m above sea level. We are interested in ensuring that as many people as possible can enjoy their holidays in this unique environment and are therefore happy to rent out our two holiday apartments to guests.
